Position Summary
Victory Hearing & Balance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Assistant in Audiology (L-AA) to support our audiology team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role plays a critical part in improving clinic efficiency, enhancing patient experience, and supporting hearing aid services under the supervision of a licensed audiologist.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Prepare and room patients for audiology appointments
- Assist with patient flow and ensure timely provider handoffs
- Support otoscopy procedures within scope
- Assist with hearing protection education and fitting
Hearing Aid Support
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot hearing aids (non-programming)
- Replace batteries and manage accessories
- Prepare devices for fittings and follow-up visits
Operational Support
- Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Manage inventory of hearing aid supplies and equipment
Administrative Support
- Assist with EMR documentation in accordance with clinic standards
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Identify and communicate patient needs to the provider
Qualifications
- Active Texas Licensed Assistant in Audiology (L-AA) license (or ability to obtain)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a medical, audiology, or healthcare setting
- Interest in hearing healthcare and long-term career growth
- Experience with hearing aids or patient care support

Work Environment
This position operates in a clinical healthcare setting and requires frequent interaction with patients, providers, and medical equipment.
Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
